MAX MILAGRO LUQUE

Max Luque is a writer, director, and producer from Sonoma, California who is passionate about telling stories about desire. He is based in Los Angeles.

 

Max was a fellow in the 2024 Lambda Literary Writers Retreat for Emerging LGBTQ Voices, where he workshopped his feature script DADDY. He was also a participant in the 2024 Stowe Story Labs Sidewalk Narrative Lab, where he workshopped his feature script AWAKENING.

 

He has written and directed two short films, MR. HARRIS (2025) and WATCH (2026). WATCH is a proof of concept for a feature film called COMING HOME, which Max plans to shoot in summer 2027.

 

In 2024, Max founded Milagro Pictures, an independent production company.
